My Philosophy

I am an advocate of continuous learning, always staying ahead of industry trends and integrating cutting-edge practices into my teaching. By attending tech conferences and collaborating with industry players, I ensure that my students learn the theories and leave my courses with real-world applications.

With over 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching and guiding countless students through their technical education – covering technical infrastructure, cybersecurity and information systems, and programming. My mission is to empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly changing digital age.

System Architect, Illumisight, Irvine, CA

Maintaining AWS EC2 environment and configuring systems to meet business and client demands. Implementing WordPress infrastructure, testing, updates, and configuration within uptime SLA’s. Performing resource monitoring to ensure EC2, CloudFront, and Route 53 is at optimum performance and identifying potential bottlenecks that are affecting service quality.

Instructing undergraduate-level courses in iOS Application Development using Xcode, Introduction to Android Security, iOS Application Security, Cisco Basic Switching and Routing, and Information Security Essentials. Developing and delivering engaging lectures, lab sessions, and projects that are adjusted to meet student’s varying levels of programming experience. Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile application development. Conducting student assessments, providing constructive feedback, and offering additional support to students struggling with complex programming concepts.
